From creating your first event to sharing it with friends to printing your calendar for the fridge — everything you need to know to use Conmigo.
Getting Started
Set up Conmigo quicker than you can get a response to when are you free?
How do I create a Conmigo account?
Go to conmigo.io (or open the app) and tap Get Started.
Choose how you want to sign in: phone number (we'll text you a code), Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or Continue with Email.
If you use email, check your inbox for a 6-digit code to confirm it.
Can I try Conmigo without signing up?
Yes! Tap Get Started.
When you're ready to keep it, sign up from inside the demo by clicking your profile and then clicking Sign Up; your demo events will transfer over to your new account.
How is the app organized?
Home/The house icon — a rundown of your plans, your friends plans and ways to get together.
Where/The globe icon — a map of your friends, your events and any open events in your network.
When/The calendar icon — your calendars and their views (week/month/year).
Who/Your avatar — your profile and your people, organized into groups. From here you also access the settings page (gear button).
New Event/The orange + button — creates a new event or itinerary.
Calendars
Stop cramming your job, your kids' school schedule, and your friends' plans into one overwhelming unorganized grid. Split your life into as many calendars and calendar groups as you actually need, and decide exactly who sees each one.
How do I create a new calendar?
From the calendar page, Calendars Dropdown (top right) → + button next to My Calendars.
From the settings page, Calendars → Conmigo Calendars → New Calendar
How do I rename or recolor a calendar?
Open the Calendars dropdown from the calendar page.
Double-tap a calendar's name to rename it, or double-tap its color dot to change its color.
How do I organize my calendars into groups?
In the Calendars dropdown on the calendar page, long press the calendar handles (the 6 dots) next to the calendar you want to put in a group.
A New Group container will appear at the bottom of the Calendars List. Drag the calendar into that container to create a new group. The group will enter edit mode so you can rename it.
Drag calendars inbetween groups to rearrange them or out of them to delete groups. (Once a group has no calendars it deletes itself.)
How do I show or hide a calendar or calendar group?
Open the Calendars dropdown on the calendar page.
Tap the eye icon next to any calendar or calendar group to toggle it on or off — hidden calendars stop showing their events on the grid.
How do I delete a calendar?
Settings → Calendars → Conmigo Calendars.
Select the calendar and press the trash icon. This also deletes every event on that calendar, so move anything you want to keep first.
Syncing With External Calendars
Not a replacement for your current calendar, just a better way of looking at it. Bring your existing calendars in and let everything stay in sync automatically with two-way sync.
How do I sync Google Calendar or Outlook?
Settings → Calendars → Synced Calendars.
Choose Google or Outlook and press + Connect.
Pick which of that account's calendars to bring into Conmigo using the toggles and press Sync Now.
The calendars resync every 5 minutes. UseSync Now any time for an immediate refresh, or Reconnect if the connection expires.
How do I connect Apple Calendar?
Settings → Calendars → Synced Calendars → Apple Calendar.
Press + Connect and follow the instructions on the app.
Enter your Apple ID and an app-specific password (Conmigo shows the steps to generate one from your Apple ID settings — it's different from your normal Apple password).
Pick which calendars to sync using the toggles and press Sync Now.
The calendars resync every 5 minutes. UseSync Now any time for an immediate refresh, or Reconnect if the connection expires.
How do I subscribe to a calendar link (iCal/Webcal)?
Refresh, pause, rename, or remove the subscription any time from there.
How do I import an (.ics) files?
On mobile & Desktop: Settings → Calendars → Synced Calendars → Import .ics file.
On Desktop only: drag the file to the calendar window
Pick the destination calendar (up to 50 events per file); if the file spans multiple days, you can choose to import it as an itinerary instead of separate events.
Events already imported stay on your calendar (only future syncing stops). To delete the events follow the "How do I delete a calendar?" instructions above.
Creating and Editing Events
Get something on the calendar in seconds, and undo it just as fast when plans inevitably change.
How do I create an event?
Tap the orange + button.
Fill in WHO (guests), WHEN (date/time), WHERE (location), and a description.
Tap Save.
Can I create an event just by typing it out normally?
Turn it on first: Settings → Preferences → NLP Event Adding.
Type something like "dinner with Sam Friday 7pm downtown" into the title field — the who, when, and where fields fill themselves in.
Review and adjust anything before saving.
How do I edit an event?
Tap the event to open it.
Tap into any field to change it, then save.
How do I duplicate an event?
Open the event → Actions → Duplicate.
A copy is created that you can then reschedule or edit.
Can I duplicate an event by dragging it?
On the calendar grid, long-press an event.
Drag it onto the Duplicate target that appears above it and release.
How do I delete an event?
Open the event → Actions → Delete.
You'll get a brief Undo option right after.
Can I delete an event by dragging it?
On the calendar grid, long-press an event.
Drag it onto the Delete target that appears above it and release.
Can events repeat automatically?
While creating or editing an event, turn on Repeat.
Choose the interval (every N days/weeks/months/years) and, for weekly repeats, which days.
When you later edit or delete a repeating event, you'll be asked whether it applies to just this occurrence or the whole series.
How do I get reminded before an event?
Inside an event, open Reminders and add one or more (choose the time before the event and the unit — minutes, hours, days, weeks, months).
To have every new event pre-filled with reminders automatically, set Settings → Preferences → Default reminders.
How do I add a location to an event?
In the WHERE section, search for a place and pick it from the autocomplete list, or choose from Recent.
Picking a real venue attaches its rating, price, and photos, plus a Get directions link.
How do I add a cover photo to an event?
Inside an event, tap the cover image area.
Choose Pictures (search or upload), GIFs or Stickers, or a Gradient, then crop and position it.
To have new events start with a cover photo automatically, turn on Settings → Preferences → Default cover photos.
Who can see the events on my calendar?
Inside an event, open Calendar Visibility.
Choose Full Details, Title & Time Only, Busy Slots Only, Not Visible to Others, or Calendar Default.
This controls what people you've shared your calendar with can see about this specific event.
Itineraries
Big plans have a lot of moving pieces. Keep every leg of a trip, wedding weekend, or all-day outing inside ONE event instead of scattered across five separate ones nobody can find.
How do I add an item to an event's itinerary?
Open the event and scroll to Itinerary.
Tap Add to itinerary and fill in the new item like any other event — it becomes a child of the one you're in.
A child event can have its own children (a "grandchild" event), useful for a sub-plan within a sub-plan — a wedding weekend can hold a rehearsal dinner, and the rehearsal dinner can hold its own carpool plan.
Can I reorder itinerary items?
Open the parent event's itinerary list.
Drag an item to a new position.
What happens if I delete an event that has itinerary items?
To remove one item, open it and delete it like any event.
To delete the parent event, you'll be asked Delete all (removes the parent and every item inside it) or Keep itinerary items (removes only the parent; its items become standalone events) — so cancelling a whole trip and cancelling one dinner inside it are never confused.
Can Conmigo build an itinerary for me automatically?
Open the event you want the itinerary attached to (or start a new one).
Drop in a link, paste a screenshot of a schedule, upload a spreadsheet, or upload a PDF.
Conmigo extracts a day-by-day itinerary — review it in the import dialog (name the trip, uncheck anything you don't want, pick the destination calendar) before it's added.
How do I share an itinerary without inviting people to every item?
Open the event's itinerary → Share itinerary.
Turn it on to generate a link anyone can open to view (not RSVP to) the plan.
Copy the link, or turn it off to revoke access.
Inviting People and RSVPs
Getting people to actually respond is the hardest part of planning anything. Make RSVPing take ten seconds — even for people who've never heard of Conmigo.
How do I invite guests from my friends list?
Inside an event, tap the + in the WHO section.
Search and select friends — their RSVP status shows as a colored ring on their avatar once they respond.
Can I invite people who don't have Conmigo?
Inside an event, open Invite Link.
Copy the link or share it directly — anyone who opens it can RSVP by typing just their name, no account or app download required.
Turn it off any time to stop new people from using it.
How do I send a personal invite by text or email?
Inside an event, tap Send Invites.
Enter each guest's name and phone number or email.
Conmigo opens your own messaging app with their personalized invite link pre-written, ready to send.
Do my guests need to download the app to RSVP?
No. A guest without the app who taps an invite link sees the event's cover, date/time, location, description, and the full itinerary in their browser, with an Are you coming? RSVP button.
If they have the Conmigo app installed, the same link opens it directly instead.
Accepted guests get an Add to calendar button to save the event to their own calendar app.
Can guests comment or add photos to an event?
Any guest who has RSVP'd can scroll to the event's comment feed.
Type a comment, or attach a photo (camera or gallery) or a GIF.
Reactions and replies are supported the same way.
How do I send an update to my guests?
Guests can opt in to text updates from the RSVP page by entering their phone number.
As the host, open the event → Compose Text Blast, filter recipients by RSVP status (Going / Can't Go / Invited), optionally attach a photo, and send.
See past blasts under Text Blast History.
Can I invite my whole friend group without adding each person one by one?
Inside an event, turn on Open Invite.
The event appears on the map (Where tab) for all your confirmed friends, who can open and RSVP to it without a direct invite.
Turn on Notify connections alongside it to alert them directly.
Friends and Connections
Build out the people you actually plan with — without turning your contacts list into a chore.
How do I add a friend?
Open the Who tab → Add your people.
Search by name or @username and send a request.
Can Conmigo tell me which of my contacts are already on it?
Who tab → Add your people → Find friends from your contacts.
Grant contacts access when prompted — Conmigo only uses it to match people who are already on the app; your contacts are never shared or posted.
Can I organize my friends into groups?
On the Who tab, people are grouped into clusters (Family, Friends, Work, Neighbors, Other by default).
Tap Create New Group to add your own, and drag people between groups.
How do I add someone who isn't on Conmigo yet?
Add your people → Add manually.
Enter their name, and optionally email, phone, and address.
Use Invite to Conmigo on their contact card any time to send them a link; once they join, use Link Contact to Account to merge the entries.
How do I remove, block, or report someone?
Open their profile from the Who tab.
Choose Remove friend, Block, or Report (Spam, Harassment, Inappropriate content, or Other).
A blocked guest still appears on shared events, but only as an anonymous "+1 guest."
Sharing and Comparing Calendars
See what everyone's actually up to, without sending a single "when are you free?" text.
How do I share my calendar with someone?
Settings → Calendars → Conmigo Calendars, or from the Calendars dropdown → Share Calendar.
Pick the friends to share with and the calendar(s) to share.
Choose a privacy level: Full Details, Title & Time Only, or Busy Slots Only.
Can I control how much detail someone sees on my shared calendar?
Settings → Calendars → Shared Calendars.
Find the calendar under the calendars you share out and adjust its privacy level any time, without re-sharing from scratch.
How do I stop sharing or stop viewing a calendar?
Settings → Calendars → Shared Calendars.
Under Shared with me, tap Stop Viewing to remove a calendar someone shared with you.
Under the calendars you share out, tap Stop Sharing to revoke someone's access.
How do I find a time that works for everyone?
Open the Calendars dropdown on the When tab.
Turn on Compare schedules — every visible shared calendar flattens into one contrasting color so open slots stand out.
Pick your own comparison color if you'd like.
Exporting Your Calendar
Not everything has to live on a screen. Get your calendar out as a subscription link for other apps, or a printed page for the fridge.
How do I get a link to subscribe to my calendar in another app?
Settings → Calendars → Exported Calendars.
Tap Generate Export Link to get a private `.ics` URL.
Subscribe to that URL from any other calendar app. Regenerate Link or Turn Off any time to revoke it.
Pick a paper size and adjust the text-size slider — the live preview updates as you go, and you can zoom/pan the preview before generating.
Choose which calendars to include (or tap All/None) and toggle Day photos, Calendar legend, Child events, and Grandchild events.
Tap Generate PDF to save or share the file.
Notifications and Reminders
Never rely on remembering something on your own again.
How do I turn on notifications?
Settings → Preferences → External Notifications.
Accept the system permission prompt when asked.
You'll be notified for reminders, invites, friend requests, and event updates even when the app isn't open.
Can every new event remind me automatically, without setting it each time?
Settings → Preferences → Default reminders.
Add one or more default lead times; every new event you create starts with these already applied.
Can I snooze a reminder?
When a reminder notification arrives, use its Snooze action to be reminded again later.
Your Profile and Settings
Make Conmigo look and feel like yours, and control exactly what other people can see about you.
How do I edit my profile?
Open your profile (top of the Who tab, or Settings).
Update your display name, email, home address, phone number, or birthday.
Your home address is used for travel-time estimates and to place you on the map — see the privacy question below for who can see it.
Can I use a video instead of a photo for my profile?
Profile → tap your avatar.
Choose Upload photo (then crop/zoom in the round cropper) or Moving Profile to record a short looping video avatar — Conmigo automatically removes the background.
How do I change the app's theme or background?
Settings → Appearance.
Pick Light, Dark, or Auto for the theme.
Pick a background from 15 options (solid, gradients, or photos).
Turn on High Contrast if you'd like stronger contrast throughout.
Who can see my address or location?
Settings → Privacy.
Share full address — off by default; when off, connections only see your city, not your street address.
Places you have been — on by default; lets friends see you've visited a venue (just a count and your avatar, never when or with whom).
Live location — off by default; when on, friends see your real-time position and when you were last nearby.
What do the Preferences settings control?
Settings → Preferences.
Home Timezone — used for default reminders and date math.
NLP Event Adding and AI-Assisted Scheduling (Beta) — both off by default; turning on NLP is required before AI-Assisted Scheduling can be turned on.
Open invite alerts — on by default; notifies you when a connection opens an event to their network.
iOS Home Screen Widget
See what's next without even opening the app.
How do I add a Conmigo widget to my home screen?
From your iPhone home screen, touch and hold an empty area until the icons jiggle, then tap the + in the corner.
Search for Conmigo and choose a size.
Tap Add Widget, then tap and drag it into place.
Which widget size should I use?
Small — Next Event: just your next event at a glance.
Medium — Next Up + Inbox: your next event, today's agenda, and unread notifications.
Large — Who & Agenda: your next event's full guest list plus the rest of your day.
Tap any widget to jump straight into the app. If a widget looks stale, check Settings → Account Info → Widget Diagnostics for its status and last-updated time.
Managing Your Account
The basics of stepping away, temporarily or for good.
How do I log out?
Settings → Account Info → Log Out.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account Info → Delete account.
Confirm — this permanently removes your account and its data.
