A step-by-step welcome for new Conmigo accounts
New users set up their profile and calendars in a few taps. Guests now show as avatars on your events.
A guided welcome
New accounts now start with a short set of questions instead of a pop-up.
- Tell us about you. The welcome asks for your name, birthday, phone number and address, and lets you upload a selfie. The address screen explains who can see it.
- Connect your calendars. Link Google Calendar or Apple Calendar right in the welcome. Google now lets you choose which account to use.
- Allow what you want. A Permissions step covers notifications, location and contacts, and a final “You're all set” screen greets you by name.
- No flash of Home. While Conmigo checks whether you are new, you see a loading spinner instead of a quick glimpse of the Home screen.
Guests on your events
See who is coming at a glance, and fix the guest list when plans change.
- Avatars on your events. Events with guests show their profile pictures or initials in your week view and in Today's events, up to three, with a count for the rest.
- Remove a guest. If you created an event, you can take an invited guest off it. If you cancel your edit, the guest list goes back to how it was.
- No adding by accident. The add friend button is hidden while you are only viewing an event.
Reply to Google Calendar events
Events that live in another calendar now behave the way you expect.
- Accept, decline or maybe. You can answer an event hosted in Google Calendar from Conmigo, and your answer goes back to Google.
- See the guest list. Guests from your synced Google and Apple calendars now show on the event, sorted by their reply.
- No calendar mix-ups. The calendar picker is hidden on events hosted elsewhere, so you can't move them to a different calendar.
Friends map and profiles
Open your own profile from the map, and see friends where they choose to be seen.
- Your own pin. Tap your own marker to see your profile. An edit button there opens your profile in Settings.
- Privacy-friendly pins. A friend who doesn't share a full address appears at the center of their city.
- Tidier profiles. Phone and birthday share one line, with the address centered below. Email no longer shows.
Smaller improvements
A few more fixes.
- Events have a description section that hosts can edit and guests can read.
- The activity feed now shows on events in calendars you have shared.
- Tap a calendar color in the event window to pick it, and the title follows as you swipe.
- The sparkle button now cleans up an event title only when you tap it, and you can tap it again.
- On phones, Home has a Conmigo logo and a search icon, and search results appear in a list below it.
- Weather updates right away when you change your home address in Settings.
- People without a photo show two-letter initials everywhere.
