We built Conmigo because we believe coordinating with and seeing the people you care about should be easier.
We're committed to being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it. Our core principle: we only collect and share the minimal information needed to help you coordinate and cultivate the relationships with the people you already know, care about and are ok sharing information with.
We don't sell your personal data. We don't use it for advertising. We don't share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We treat your data the way we'd want someone to treat ours.
What personal information do we collect? When you use Conmigo, we collect information you provide directly (like your name, phone number and email), information about how you use our service, and information you choose to share with us (like your contacts, address or calendar data).
Do we receive any personal information from third parties? We may receive information about you from other Conmigo users when they sync their contacts or share calendar information with you.
Why do we collect personal information? We collect personal information to provide and improve Conmigo's coordination features, communicate with you about the service, and ensure security. We do not sell your personal information or use it for marketing purposes.
When do we share personal information? We share information only with service providers who help us operate Conmigo, when required by law, or with your explicit permission.
What are your rights? Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information.
When you create an account and use Conmigo, you may provide: full name, email address, phone number, profile picture, birthday, home address (used for travel time calculations), real-time location data if you opt in, contact information from your device's contact book (if you grant permission), calendar data from Google Calendar (if you grant permission), and photos and media you upload.
When you use Conmigo, we automatically collect device and usage data (IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, interaction data), general location based on IP address, and log data such as error reports and performance data.
Other Conmigo users may provide information about you when they sync their device contacts, share calendar information that includes events with you, or add you to events or invite you to the platform.
We use your personal information to provide and operate Conmigo, improve and personalize the service, communicate with you about your account, and detect and prevent unauthorized access, abuse, or fraudulent activity.
We do not send marketing emails. On occasion, we will use the phone number provided by an event host to communicate with you on their behalf about an event you've been invited to, only if you opt in.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate Conmigo, other Conmigo users (on a per-connection, per-calendar basis that you control), and when required by law.
Calendar sharing is granular: you choose which connections can see your calendar, and at what privacy level (full details, titles and times only, or busy times only).
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The two kinds of SMS Conmigo may send are event messages sent on behalf of an event host (only if you opt in for that specific event) and account and security messages such as verification codes.
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at conmigocal@gmail.com.
We keep your information for as long as necessary to provide Conmigo's services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we need to retain certain data to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with legal requirements.
We implement technical and organizational security measures including encryption, access controls, and secure data storage practices. No electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure.
Conmigo is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Contact us at conmigocal@gmail.com if you believe your child has provided us with personal information.
