Conmigo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

• Create an account (name, email address, password)
• Complete your profile (username, bio, sports, skill levels)
• Enable location services (approximate or precise location)
• Send messages or participate in activities
• Upload a profile photo

We also collect information automatically when you use the Service, including device information, log data, and usage analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Connect you with other users based on location and sport preferences
• Send push notifications about activities and messages (with your permission)
• Respond to comments and questions and provide customer support
• Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the app experience
• Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities

3. Location Information

Conmigo uses your device's location to show you nearby athletes and activities. You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings. If you disable location access, some features of the Service may not function properly.

Your approximate location is visible to other users on the app. Your precise GPS coordinates are never shared publicly.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties except as described in this policy. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who assist us in operating the app (e.g., Supabase for database and authentication, Expo for push notifications)
• Other users as part of the core functionality (your profile, location area, sports, and messages)
• Law enforcement when required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app, which will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. Your Rights
