Thanks for using Conmigo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Conmigo ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Conmigo's mobile app, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use Conmigo.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Conmigo. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you may not use Conmigo under any circumstances. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may only use Conmigo with parental or guardian consent.

When you post content on Conmigo (event details, messages, photos, etc.), you agree that your content will not:
Conmigo uses automated tools to review user-generated content (including event titles, descriptions, display names, comments, and uploaded images) for compliance with these Terms. Content that is detected as inappropriate may be blocked before it is posted. This is not a guarantee that all violating content will be removed, and we are not liable for content that passes automated review.
You may report content or users you believe violate these Terms by using the in-app report feature. We review reports on a reasonable-efforts basis and will take action — including content removal or account suspension — when we find a violation. Reports are confidential. We are not required to notify you of any action taken in response to a report.
You may block other users from finding your profile, inviting you to events, or seeing your calendars. Blocking does not guarantee complete separation from a blocked user across all surfaces of the app (for example, if you both share a calendar with a third party). You can manage your blocked users list in Settings → Account Info.
We reserve the right to remove any content and/or suspend or terminate any account that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or our community standards. We may act without prior notice. If you believe your content was removed or your account was suspended in error, you may contact us to appeal.
You retain ownership of any content you post on Conmigo (messages, event details, photos, etc.). However, by posting content, you grant us a limited license to use, store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide the Service.

Conmigo, including our app, website, logo, design, features, and all related intellectual property, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without permission.

Conmigo integrates with third-party services like:
AI-powered content moderation: We submit user-generated text and images to OpenAI's moderation API to detect policy-violating content before it is posted. This means content you submit (event titles, descriptions, display names, comments, uploaded images) may be transmitted to OpenAI for classification. No personally identifying information beyond the content itself is shared. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by their usage policies.
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.
Conmigo is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce fees for certain features or services in the future. If we do, we will notify you in advance, and you can choose whether to continue using those features.

We strive to keep Conmigo available and functioning properly, but we don't guarantee that the Service will always be accessible, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may need to suspend or restrict access for maintenance, updates, or other reasons.
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of Conmigo at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any changes, suspensions, or discontinuation of the Service.
You may need to download updates to continue using Conmigo. Some updates may be installed automatically, while others may require your action. If you don't install required updates, parts of the Service may not function properly.
You can stop using Conmigo and delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion:

Content removal does not constitute account termination, and repeated or serious violations may result in additional enforcement actions up to and including account suspension or termination.

Conmigo is a coordination tool, not a source of professional advice. We do not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Any information obtained through the Service is for general informational purposes only.
We are not responsible for any content, products, or services provided by third parties through or in connection with Conmigo.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at conmigocal@gmail.com. We'll try to resolve the dispute informally within 60 days.
If we introduce paid features in the future, we may update these Terms to include an arbitration clause. We will notify you of any such changes.
For now, any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Greensboro, North Carolina.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and Conmigo regarding the Service.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply after these Terms end.
