Conmigo vs TimeTree

Updated November 2026

TimeTree is a shared calendar app for families, couples and groups who keep one calendar together, with chat, memos and photo albums inside it. Conmigo is a social calendar for making plans with friends and family, with invites anyone can answer through a link and two-way sync with Google, Outlook and Apple Calendar.

Both save you from asking "when are you free?" over text. TimeTree gives a group one calendar that everyone adds to. Conmigo starts from your own calendars and lets you choose how much each friend sees.

Is TimeTree free?

Yes. TimeTree's free plan covers creating and sharing calendars, multiple calendars, comments and photos, importing other calendars, and public calendars. It shows ads.

TimeTree Premium removes the ads and adds file attachments, an hour-by-hour vertical view, pinned events and dedicated support. In the US it costs $4.49 a month or $44.99 a year, and the first month is free. You subscribe in the iPhone or Android app, and each subscription covers one account.

Conmigo has no subscription. On the web, 1 connected calendar account is free, with unlimited calendars inside it, and each extra account is a one-time $10. The iPhone app is free, with no paywall.

Does TimeTree sync with Google Calendar?

Partly. TimeTree can show events from your phone's calendar, including a Google Calendar synced to it, on your Home Calendar. It runs one way. TimeTree events don't go back to Google, you can't export them, and other calendars don't appear on the web version. To share a Google event with a TimeTree group, you copy it into a shared calendar one event at a time.

Conmigo syncs both ways with Google, Outlook and Apple Calendar. Change an event in Conmigo and it changes in the other calendar too. Changes made there come back within about 5 minutes.

Can I invite people who don't use TimeTree?

To join a TimeTree calendar, people tap your invitation link and use a TimeTree account, on the app or the web.

Conmigo invites are made for people who don't have the app. Your guest opens the link in their browser, sees the cover photo, time, place and itinerary, and answers with just their name. Once they reply, they can comment and add photos. If they opt in, they get a text when the time or place changes.

How do TimeTree and Conmigo handle privacy?

TimeTree sets privacy calendar by calendar. Everyone in a shared calendar sees its events, and nobody sees your Home Calendar or the calendars you haven't shared.

Conmigo sets it person by person. Share with your sister at full details and with a friend at busy slots only, or hide a single event from everyone. Events are private by default.

When TimeTree is the better choice

  • One calendar the whole group adds to. A family or a couple can keep a single shared calendar where everyone posts events and chats about them.
  • You use Android. TimeTree has an Android app. Conmigo runs in your phone's browser instead.
  • Notes and lists next to your calendar. Memos and to-do lists live inside TimeTree.
  • A shared photo album. TimeTree's albums sit with the calendar.
  • Public calendars. You can use or create calendars that anyone can follow.
  • You don't need sync. If your plans don't live in Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar, TimeTree's one-way display may be all you need.

Details about the other app come from its own website, help pages and app store listings, checked in November 2026.
